The Presbyteries of Grand Canyon and de Cristo are hereby called to meet on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Chandler Presbyterian Church in Chandler, AZ with the Call to Order scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Registration will begin at 8:15 a.m.

A lunch will be provided by the Borderlands YAVS from Tucson. It will be a tamale lunch with beans, rice, guacamole, salsa, and salad. The cost of the meal is $13.00. If paying by check, make check out to Tucson Borderlands YAV. You will not want to miss this meal!

There is a zoom option for those unable to attend in person in Chandler. To be able to attend the Zoom meeting option, you must contact the Stated Clerk by email ( pbyclerk@gmail.com ) to register and receive the log on information for the Zoom option. In the email request if you are a commissioner to the Presbytery, please include the name of the church you will be representing. These requests must be received before 5:00 pm on March 26 to be able to use the zoom option. No requests will be accepted after this date and time.

Revised Ruling Elder Commissioner representation numbers for each congregation for the remainder of the meetings in 2024 and January 2025 have been sent to the Clerks of Session for each of the churches. If you cannot find that information, contact the Stated Clerk or Mica for clarification.

The main items of business are:

• Conduct normal business required for stated meetings.

• Participate in Worship and Communion with renewal of Commissioning of CREs

• Presentation by the GC Reconciliation Team on the 12 Steps to Conflict Resolution

• On-site small group dealing with conflict

• Zoom small group dealing with conflict

• Latest information on Montlure camping 2025

• Opportunities for Presbyterian Older Adult Ministries Network

• Nomination approvals for committee assignments

• A message from de Cristo’s Mission Committee

• Synod Mid Council Conversation Task Force – Update

• Come visit Chandler and see their new school as they prepare to open for instruction and open their doors to support the youth in their neighboring community. 

The complete packet will be posted for downloading on Friday, March 21, 2025 on the Presbytery website www.azpresbyteries.org commissioners are responsible for printing their own materials.

Exit north bound I10 to East 347 (Queen Creek Road) Turn right on to Queen Creek Road and continue to Dobson Road. At Dobson turn left and continue to Germann Rd. Turn right on Germann Rd and continue to Arrowhead Dr. At Arrowhead Drive, turn left and continue several blocks to the church on your left.
