P & J ONGOING PROGRAMS
Special projects include but are not limited to grants (such as Cents-Ability and the George Brooks Award) and hosting special educational events. This network often brings in special guests for multi-cultural and multi-church events to promote peace and justice.

Peace and Justice Special Programs include but are not limited to grants (such as Cents-Ability and the George Brooks Award) and hosting the special events. These are ongoing programs that your Peace & Justice Network administers on behalf of the Grand Canyon Presbytery. Your Network works hard to bring timely news to E-Focus on social justice issues and actions the Presbyterian Church recommends to churches. All churches are encouraged to submit applications for grants and honorary recipients. Check out the video of previous Peacemaker activities and contact us to schedule your church participation in this year's events!
In 2026 Peace and Justice was very active in the PWPGC Spring Gathering. They provided two workshop leaders, hosted a welcome dinner for our YAV (Young Adult Volunteers) speakers, and a great display of the many P&J activities. In addition to the PW event YAV visited many local churches and events to promote youth involvement.
