Human trafficking is a result of greed and a violent disregard of human rights- meeting poverty and need. Labor and sex trafficking may occur with a promise of regular work that then vanishes, or when a family sells a child they can not afford to feed. People who are trafficked disappear into a nightmare of debt, addiction, abuse and isolation. Workshops open opportunities for people to notice those who may be at risk in their community, and also how to help nationally and globally.
